DOA was founded by Jeff Marsh in 1999. In 2007, longtime writer Jenn O’Donnell became editor. She currently runs the site with help from her husband, Kyle O’Donnell, music editor Bryan Sanchez, and a team of dedicated writers.
In 2009 DOA celebrated 10 years of album, mp3, and concert reviews as well as interviews, features, and more. Isn’t 10 years in internet time something like 50 human years? We felt a redesigned site powered by WordPress was only fitting for our 10 year anniversary. The new platform allows more flexibility in design, navigation, and search. We hope you’ll find your way around with ease!
Submissions are always welcome, but please keep in mind that we cannot cover all of the material we receive. This also means we can’t respond to 30 emails asking whether we’ve received your submission or whether we’ll cover it. Sorry.
