New Video from rock band Mean Creek

From Solid Gold Records:

Mean Creek hail from Boston and their latest album, Local Losers (due out February 18th), is eight tracks  of high energy rock and roll influenced by Massachusetts bands who also embraced punk inspired rock music:  Mission of Burma, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr. and The Lemonheads.  Their recordings are a high energy  assault delivered at break-neck speed, played with the desperation and force only a young, hungry rock band can deliver, albeit in a  far more emotive and “pop” way when compared to their influences.     In the live setting, Mean Creek excel at making each song feel like an urgent anthem and tend to show their punk roots a little more.     Their latest video for the song “Cool Town” is a clever parody of the old Alanis Morissette song “Ironic” which is kind of hilarious.
