Owen Tromans unveils new “Long Now” video

Owen Tromans - Long Now

Owen Tromans – Long Now

Following on from the craft-refining For Haden EP from earlier this year and ahead of a new album set for release in 2014, long-time DOA favourite Owen Tromans has recently slipped out a freshly-cut digital-only single entitled “Long Now.”  Playing up to its title – both literally in length and lyrically in its conceptualism – the nine minute track takes a journey in debt to the most languid ruminations of Red House Painters and Neil Young as well as to the purposeful noise-jams of Sonic Youth’s A Thousand Leaves and Electr-O-Pura-era Yo La Tengo.

Now to visually match its epic road-trip ambience comes a corresponding video – as below – beautifully cut to fit by Reading-based independent film enterprise Sun Skeletons Visual.

“Long Now” is available on Sacred Geometry via Bandcamp.
