Stoker is visionary filmmaker Park Chan-Wook’s (Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance) newest film starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver and Nicole Kidman. Milan Records has released the Stoker: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack oniTunes. Much has been made of music’s key role in the film, focusing on the stellar score by Clint Mansell, as well as original compositions from Philip Glass and Emily Wells. Rounding out an exciting line up of visionary artists, the soundtrack ends with “Summer Wine” by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood.

The film itself revolves around India (Wasikowska), whose father dies in an auto accident. Her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
