Forever rejuvenating ‘60s art-rocking synth pioneers the Silver Apples – beloved and honoured by the likes of Gallon Drunk, Moon Duo, Portishead and Stereolab (along with many others) – return yet again this September with a new single, a vintage vinyl reissue and an extensive European tour.
Soon to be unleashed on Enraptured Records is a limited live red vinyl 7” single featuring as-yet-unrecorded-in-the-studio new song “The Edge Of Wonder” backed with an on stage version of 1996’s previous comeback single A-side, “Fractal Flow.”
Launched around the same time is a freshly-cut yellow vinyl reissue of the Silver Apples’ nearly-lost third album, The Garden, on the band’s own Chicken Coop Recordings imprint.
