Second Language releases Memory Drawings debut

Memory Drawings - Music For Another Loss

Newly-released on the ever-evolving Second Language  – with the label’s usual mixture of surprise and understatement – is Music For Another Loss, the debut release from the pan-global Memory Drawings.

This first instrumental album from the freshly-formed trio of hammered dulcimer player Joel Hanson, violinist Sarah Kemp (Brave Timbers, Last Harbour, Lanterns On The Lake, The Declining Winter) and multi-instrumentalist Richard Adams (The Declining Winter, Hood) – which also features guest spots from Rachel Grimes (Rachel’s) and Gareth S. Brown – is delivered in typically high-spec and artful Second Language packaging.   Added to this CD-only release is a bonus disc of remixes (from the likes of Piano Magic, Dakota Suite and Rachel Grimes) and vocal-led versions of four album tracks.

Fans of Second Language’s pre-existing pastoral and neo-classical slanted releases should check out Music For Another Loss before the limited pressing sells out at the regular fast pace.
