Second Language Records releases Richard Moult’s Celestial King For A Year.

Richard Moult - Celestial King For A Year

Just dispatched to existing subscribers and now available direct from the label (as well as the ever reliable Norman Records) Celestial King For A Year is the latest highly limited Second Language CD release; this time from composer, painter, poet and serial collaborated Richard Moult.

Already the author of multiple recordings under his own name as well as being a member of Current 93, United Bible Studies and Plinth, Moult’s new LP is part-influenced by early Christian chants and deploys strings, wordless voices and electronics across a reassuringly un-rock ‘n’ roll three-part movement that spreads the post-classical wing of 2L’s roster even further than before.

Beautifully-packaged as usual, in a hand-made envelope with a postcard of Richard’s painting of harpist Áine O’ Dwyer, Celestial King For A Year is limited to a mere 300 copies.
