DM Stith’s BMB Out July 1 on Asthmatic Kitty

Asthmatic Kitty artist DM Stith returns with BMB EP, a seven-track album and the first in a trilogy of EP’s to be released before the end of the year. BMB features two cover songs–a rendition of Randy Newman’s “Suzanne” and a B-side cover of The Ronettes “Be My Baby.” The release includes a starker version of “BMB” displaying the bare bones of the track, led by soft piano, choral chants and the occasional whisper with Stith’s reverb vocals. Completing the seven tracks alongside new renditions of “Around the Lion Legs” and “Untitled” are two remixes for BMB, one by Prefuse 73 collaborator Roberto Carlos Lange and another by Son Lux.
